Mr. Hersh is our design advisor at OurComm. We met because he was referred to me by our CTO who had previous worked with Mr. Hersh. He has worked diligently, quickly, and has produced design and user insight for my company. Our needs primarily required user interface and illustrated work for him. However, whenever we need he has seamlessly integrated our target users’ perspective. He is a great addition to our team.
I completely recommend Mr. Hersh. In addition to the quality of his work, his personality and work approach has been great for our team. I have two rules for anyone who joins our team: 1) always state your opinion; and 2) be respectful of others. Mr. Hersh has given great contributions and has been a pleasure collaborate with. David Hersh is a true designer. I've had the pleasure of working with Dave and I would do again in a heart beat. No matter how much pressure there is for a deadline, projects always got done; whether it was working late nights or weekends, Dave's dedication to great work is something I look for in every person I have met since. Taking any design problem and turning it into an advantage is one of the many strengths that made some of our work together the most exciting I have ever done. Iv'e worked with David on and off for the past few years on several projects ranging from modeling, sketching, ideation, printing, design, and collaborating in areas of Product design and Apparel.
Dave is dedicated, abstract and a unique thinker. His best sketching comes naturally with little or no direction. His Range of Ideation can be expressive and direct to abstract and simple.
Managing and networking seems to take a back seat to his innovative thinking. Creating ideas of futuristic concepts using current technology is one of his strengths. He is not aggressive, which is what makes him flexible, distinct, and versatile. Forcing creativity is not a good thing when you want to be innovative. Dave deviates from the mainstream in obvious ways, which is how you know he will come up with a design that hasn't been seen before.
The most noticeable traits that Dave has is also his strongest. He listens. Thinking how to incorporate many ideas into one great design.

David is the designer that you want! I've had the pleasure of collaborating with David for two years at the Academy of Art University, during which we designed various functional products and delivered professional presentations on projects such as a stand alone kitchen project, a urban bicycle project, and a home appliance project with New Deal Designers. David’s strike a different note as a designer. His out of the box ideas and aesthetics are invaluable, and the ability to follow through with strong sketching and graphic design benefits the final presentation. During the difficult time of our 'stand alone kitchen project' he kept the team inline to the goal and motivated us to head to the finish line.
